
Congdon has over 25 years experience as an information technology leader. Prior to joining Red Hat, he was Managing Vice President, Information Technology at Capital One where he developed and delivered information technology solutions for the firm’s corporate functions and Global Financial Services group. Before Capital One, Congdon was Senior Vice President, Strategic Initiatives, at Nasdaq, where he led the organization’s efforts to identify, implement, and operate technology solutions for Nasdaq Japan, Nasdaq Europe, and other strategic global ventures. Earlier, at Citicorp, Congdon led multiple global technology initiatives for the private bank and the corporate bank. Congdon began his career at IBM as an operating system developer and held several technology and technical marketing positions of increasing responsibility with that firm.
Congdon holds Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Computer Science from Purdue University and a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the Kellogg School at Northwestern University.

Gutmans has also been a lead contributor to PHP since 1997, when he and Zeev Suraski developed the foundation for PHP 3 and later co-founded Zend Technologies together. PHP 3 was a turning point for the language, which today powers over 20 million websites including Facebook and Yahoo! and enjoys a following of over 5 million developers.
Gutmans was named one of Computerworld’s “40 innovative IT people to watch, under the age of 40.” He is also recognized from the widely circulated technical publications he has authored and is a frequent speaker on business and technology issues at global conferences. Gutmans is a member of the PHP Group, the Apache Software Foundation, and the Eclipse Foundation, as well as serving on the board of Zend Technologies. Gutmans holds a bachelor’s in computer science from the Technion, Israel Institute of Technology.

Prior to his tenure at Red Hat, Paul was founder and CEO of NOCpulse, Inc., a Silicon Valley software startup focused on delivering the next generation enterprise systems management platform. NOCpulse was acquired by Red Hat in October 2002. While at NOCpulse, Paul was nominated for the Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award in 2002. Before founding NOCpulse, Paul was chief technology officer of Global Center and VP of technology for Global Crossing, a telecommunications company that built and operated the world’s first independent global fiber optic network. During the past twelve years, Paul has held various engineering, product management and marketing positions at companies including Red Hat, IBM, Lotus Development and Compuware.
Prior to joining North Bridge, Paul served on the advisory boards of Arrowpoint Communications (acquired by Cisco), Inflow, Kiva Software (acquired by Netscape), Mobility.net (acquired by Software.com) and One Secure (acquired by Netscreen).
Paul received a B.S. from Emerson College in Boston.

Mr. Freeman has been with Ingram for more than 27 years. Prior positions with Ingram include Senior Vice President for Business Development of Ingram Book Group, Chief Technology Officer of Ingram Book Group, President of Ingram Customer Systems, and President of Ingram Fulfillment Services. He has served as Chair of the Book Industry Study Group, a non-profit organization that provides research and standards development for the book industry, and as Chair of the Book Industry Systems Advisory Committee.
Mr. Freeman attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Information Systems and Accounting from Middle Tennessee State University.


In the more colorful past, Josh has been a sculptor, a potter, a pastry baker, a labor organizer, a lobbyist, a legal assistant and a professional fundraiser. He likes to think that this gives him more perspective than the average Silicon Valley geek, but he’s probably kidding himself. He has lived in the Upper Haight neighborhood of San Francisco since 1993, and is unlikely to leave as long as rent control exists.


He joined Lulu in 2005 and has worked across internal teams covering all areas of the publishing and e-commerce platforms. He took the reigns of Lulu’s engineering group in 2006. Prior to joining Lulu, Reuning spent five years at ibiblio.org, a large digital library and web hosting organization affiliated with the University of North Carolina. ibiblio works with a vast number of academic and open source software projects around the world. Before ibiblio, Reuning worked on a variety of technology projects. Reuning earned his A.B. in French from Davidson College. He earned both an M.A. in French Literature and an M.S. in Information Science from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. Reuning enjoys exercising and is an avid runner. He also has a passion for medieval French literature, which stems from his academic days.

Dr. Weinberg is a member of the Wiz/Heo development team, primarily responsible for the creation and maintenance of the AdmissionWiz and ConsultWiz modules. He is also the primary developer for the Patient Flow / Outpatient Whiteboard, running within StarPanel, which is in current use at many of Vanderbilt’s on campus and offsite clinics. Dr. Weinberg is active with the American Academy of Pediatrics, serving for 12 years as the webmaster for the Council on Clinical Information Technology (COCIT) and developing its Pediatric Electronic Medical Record Review Site. Dr. Weinberg received the Byron B. Oberst Award from COCIT in 2004.
